Crossing the high plateau from San Pedro de Atacama in Chile to Uyuni in Bolivia is a rough but wonderful experience you won't forget. The tour begins in San Pedro de Atacama—a small village with character in one of the driest places on earth—and continues in 4WD vehicles to Uyuni, a village beside the world's largest salt flat.
You'll travel among volcanoes, hot springs, and colorful lagoons, spending one night in a communal hostel and one night in a very special Salt Hostel. This is truly one of the best trips South America has to offer!
