This Moravian mission station is situated in a fertile and well-watered valley in the Swartland region of the Western Cape, near to Piketberg and only about 2 hours by road from Cape Town. It is characterised by gardens full of flowers, fruit and vegetables. The church and parsonage were built by the villagers and are constructed of local stone. The church, its festivals and activities still form the focus of community life in Goedverwacht and visitors are welcome to attend a service.
