This independent tour gives you a selection of the best Argentine Patagonian destinations plus a beginners visit to a vital South American capital like Buenos Aires. After a few days in Buenos Aires, the overnight bus will take you to Puerto Madryn, the service city of Atlantic Patagonia, a whole different Patagonia that one has in mind. A region of rough deserted land, high brown cliffs but amazing blue waters where marine animals live untouched. Whales, penguins and sea lions among other species have their home here. After that different experience, the trip takes you to the far south of Argentina, Ushuaia, where you will really have the feeling of being at the end of the world. Then the tour turns to El Calafate, the city close to the Glaciers National park. There you will visit Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the renowned moving glaciers in the planet. And also cross to Torres del Paine, the jewel in the Chilean side! After that, a short stop at El Chalten, one of the best places in Argentina for trekking. And finally, before returning to Buenos Aires, a stop at Bariloche, the head of Northern Patagonia, the lakes district. Last ice age carved the landscape to produce a beautiful combination of broken mountains, rivers that run down to dozens of lakes and deep green forests. An Argentine Switzerland!
