Even the panoramic flight in small propeller aircraft, at low altitude over the delta with views of large herds of animals and endless expanses, is a highlight. Glide silently through swamps and canals at sunrise in a mokoro, the native population's dugout canoe, approach herds of antelope on a guided hike, watch hippos and crocodiles up close from a safe boat and watch lions and leopards eat.
