This itinerary offers the best combination of luxurious accommodations and breathtaking natural beauty. Your adventure will begin with a glamping experience at the Akagera National Park. It's incredible to witness the rebirth of this once-endangered park, which now thrives with wildlife, including the Big Five Safari and over 500 species of birds, such as the rare shoebill and Lake Victoria endemics.
Afterwards, you'll stop in Kigali to learn more about Rwanda's recent history by visiting the Genocide Museum. Then, you will head to Nyungwe National Park, where you can explore the rainforest and observe 13 different primate species, including chimpanzees, golden monkeys, and black and white colobus. You will stay at the One & Only Nyungwe House, situated in the heart of a tea plantation on the edge of the enchanting rainforest of Nyungwe.
Finally, you will visit Volcanoes National Park and stay at the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, where you will have the opportunity to meet the gorillas twice! This trip may be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you, but it will also help protect the endangered species inhabiting the area.
