The shimmering salt pans of Makgadikgadi along with the Nxai Pans are believed to be the largest in the world.  Shimmering miles of white are made up of surreal landscapes where flocks of swallows soar in ragged formation and elephant tracks appear seemingly out of nowhere blend into a sense of endless space.

Leroo La Tau translates as ‘lion’s paw’ but, although the surrounding area features abundant Lion, Zebra and Wildebeest, it also boasts Chobe Bushbuck, Leopard, Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, Impala, Kudu, Jackal, Porcupine, Genet and Caracal, to name but a few.

At Leroo La Tau, guest activities include twice-daily game drives through the magnificent environment of the Makgadikgadi National Park. Boat trips on the Boteti River can also be enjoyed (seasonal).

Moving to the newly revamped Camp Moremi for the classic African safari experience in Botswana’s world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve. Camp Moremi is situated on the edge of the Xakanaxa Lagoon in an area well known for its spectacular game-viewing opportunities.

Guest activities include morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many different ecosystems that the Moremi Game Reserve has to offer. Explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat for a chance to enjoy the picturesque waters of the Okavango Delta, with its kaleidoscope of birdlife.
