Journey Overview
This thoughtfully designed safari offers a balanced exploration of Kenya’s most iconic landscapes, combining wildlife immersion, exceptional guiding, and time to appreciate the quieter rhythms of the African bush.
Beginning in the leafy suburb of Karen in Nairobi, guests will ease into their journey with two nights, a tranquil base from which to experience the city’s conservation heritage.
From there, the adventure continues to the Maasai Mara, where four nights at Emboo Camp provide an opportunity to witness the extraordinary wildlife of the Mara ecosystem while staying within a camp deeply committed to sustainability and community.
The final chapter unfolds in the dramatic landscapes of the Chyulu Hills, with four nights at ol Donyo Lodge, a place known for its sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro, exceptional wildlife encounters, and unique activities including guided bush walks, horseback safaris, and night drives.
To conclude the experience, guests return to Nairobi for a final night at the iconic Giraffe Manor. Set within 140 acres of indigenous forest, this historic manor offers a truly memorable farewell, where endangered Rothschild’s giraffes roam freely and often join guests for breakfast and afternoon tea — a charming and intimate finale to the safari.
Throughout the journey, the group will travel under the thoughtful leadership of Ruth Ellen, whose passion for wildlife and immersive travel experiences bring an added layer of insight and connection to the safari.
