Introduction

The majestic Mundui House is 40 minutes down the Moi South Lake road, just after Kongoni Village. Down the long driveway, Mundui sits on a huge lawn literally right at the edge of the Lake. The house surrounds a courtyard housing a glorious swimming pool, ideal for staving off midday Naivasha heat. Mundui is ideal for big groups, hosting up to 20 people, and can be rented as the whole house or as a smaller group taking only a few rooms. Rentals are available either on a self-catered or fully-catered basis (see rates are below). Mundui prides itself as a venue destination, so if you’re planning a wedding, a special birthday or another celebration, choose Mundui and you won’t regret it.

As part of the AAR Reserve means Mundui offers access to 2000 acres of game driving, including night drives. The house hosts amazing bush breakfasts, sundowners and guided walks around the conservancy as well. If you’re looking for more activity, then why not take a boat ride, go bird watching or jump on a bike for a few laps of the house and grounds.

If you don’t know what happens in Naivasha, you’re missing one of Kenya’s highlights. On the south of Lake Naivasha, you can go horse riding or boating, or venture into Hells Gate National Park and go rock climbing, hiking and cycling. For the super fit, why not take on the climb up Mount Longonot or (for the less fit) go walking on the Crescent Island Conservancy? Alternatively, set the pace a little slower and take the family out to lunch under huge acacia trees at Carnelley’s or The Ranch House Bistro. On the north side of the lake, the Great Rift Valley Club provides golf, tennis and swimming facilities. Once you’re in the area, it’s a short run-up to Elementaita Conservancy and Nakuru National Park. Altogether, Naivasha offers a great collection of activities for everyone, and we have a great collection of houses to make your stay memorable.
