Walking in Cape Town & the Garden Route
Our Cape & Garden Route Walking Tour from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth allows you to enjoy some of the classic walks of the Cape with plenty of time to enjoy some of the scenic delights as well.
This private tour is suitable for the keen walker or the reasonably fit. The route offers a diversity of walks. From a hike on Table Mountain, to coastal walks, river gorge walks to forest walks in the indigenous forests. The Cape & Garden Route Walking Tour begin with 3 nights in Cape Town followed by time in the Cape Winelands, the whale route of Hermanus and then along the Garden Route to Port Elizabeth.
This walking holiday can be booked in conjunction with our Drakensberg Walking Tour to make a two week walking holiday – See our South Africa On Foot Tour for the full itinerary. Alternatively you can add 2 or 3 nights on the end at a private game reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape.
Note:
We offer this tour for 2 people or more. The base price is with a party of 4 people. We show the additional price if you are only two people.
This tour is subject to walking guide availability as there is a shortage of experienced walking guides in South Africa (and so some charge very high fees). Thus we are not always able to source a walking guide for last minute requests. Or we may need to charge a supplement to book one of the more expensive guides.
