- Boat and kayak the mangroves and canals of Tortuguero National Park on the Caribbean Coast
- Take a nocturnal walk to find night-time creatures in their habitat
- Birdwatch in the hilltops and cloud forest of the Savegre Valley; one of the best sites in Costa Rica to see the famous Resplendent Quetzal
- Travel by boat to the Osa Peninsula. Hike in the Corcovado National Park, where Central America's densest populations of tapir, jaguar and scarlet macaws reside
- Explore the tropical rainforest, wetlands, mangroves and marine waters of the southern Pacific Coast
