Bush, Beach and Cape Town Family Breakaway
This Cape, Bush & Beach family breakaway is a relaxing holiday mainly in sunny KwaZulu Natal which is ideal for an Easter break. We’ve added Cape Town on for 4 nights but this is optional if you are getting away for a or a short half term holiday. . .
You start off with 3 nights on safari at Phinda Mountain Lodge. Family-friendly Phinda Mountain Lodge even has a couple of interleading suites for slightly larger families. This is followed by 4 nights at Thonga Beach Lodge on the Maputaland coast with its white sandy beaches, lush tropical vegetation and diving/snorkelling opportunities. Inland you can enjoy sunrise canoeing on Lake Sibaya or relaxing sundowners on the lakeshore. Next you head back to Duyrban for a flight to Cape Town for the final 4 nights.
(Note we have not included touring at this stage in Cape Town. Some families may like to take a rental car and other will prefer a private driver for touring.)
Extending your trip
Ask us for a tailor-made quote. You can add 1 night in Durban staying at Zimbali Resort with a full day of Go-as-you-please tour. So you can visit Ushaka Marine World, or perhaps do the sky walk at the Durban Stadium. Visit the Natal Shark centre or head out to the Valley of 1000 Hills before being dropped at King Shaka airport in the late afternoon.
