FOREWORD
This 9 night and 10 day itinerary was inspired by the unique VintageAirRally (http://www.vintageairrally.com) event. The itinerary is designed to allow travelers the best experience that South Africa has to offer.
This once in a lifetime trip begins with a stay in The Mother City of Cape Town. Your 4 nights stay in this magical city includes a visit to the magnificent Table Mountain (and now one of the worlds new seven wonders of nature), a trip to Cape Point (the most south western corner of Africa) and an exclusive wine tasting at a private wine estate. You will be accommodated in the luxurious 5 star Table Bay Hotel situated in the renowned V&A Waterfront with its numerous boutique shops, restaurants and lively bars.
Your stay in Cape Town coincides with the VintageAirRally experience which takes place on 16th December 2016 at the Stellenbosch Airfield followed by the final Gala dinner event in Cape Town on the 17th December (tickets and enrty fees to these events will be at an additional cost and are excluded from this package!).
Following 4 restful days in Cape Town you will begin you trip down the picturesque Garden Route. Your first day traveling along this beautiful coastline will include a visit to the Cango Caves before arriving at your overnight accommodation at Rosenhof Country Guesthouse in Oudtshoorn. The following morning a quick stop to visit the Ostrichs at Highgate Ostrich farm before continuing on for a 2 night stay at Blackwater River Lodge in Knysna. In Knysna you will get the opportunity to view and interact the Africa's majestic giants at the Knysna Elephant Park as well as a visit to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Your final leg of the trip brings you to Kuzuko Lodge in Addo Elephant National Park where daily morning and afternoon Game Drives can be enjoyed in open 4x4 Safari vehicles.
