Overview - Okavango Delta and Central Kalahari - Wet Season Safari

Introduction

This safari starts in the Okavango Delta - one of Africa's most famous wildlife spectacles. We will have a private camp set up for us in private and remote campsites in two different parts of the Okavango Delta. The tents are large walk in safari tents which with en-suite shower and toilet facilities. The camp is a genuine safari camp with your basic comforts all covered and a complete focus on the safari experience. There is a dedicated team at the camp to keep all in order and great meals around the camp fire. How safari should be.

The Central Kalahari is a fantastic place to be when the rains have arrived as the whole place comes to life - you will be astounded at the volume of animals and small creatures that can exist in this complex place that seems to have no obvious water. There are species that live here that we don't see easily elsewhere like the Bat-eared Fox, Black Maned Lions, Cheetah and Brown Hyena, also a whole list of dry adapted birds, and being able to see how the San Bushmen have been able to survive with incredible bush knowledge will add an extra dimension to this genuine safari experience.
