*Mokoro and walking safaris are restricted to guests aged 16 and older. Mokoro safaris are also subject to water levels. Guides are armed for safety during walking safaris.

LINYANTI

On arrival in Maun, the guests will be met by a representative to assist them with their connection  to Linyanti Bush Camp

Situated within our private concession on the border of Chobe National Park, Linyanti Bush Camp stands as a premier safari destination in an area that boasts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife. Among splendid scenery of untouched lands, encounter a high density of predators, large herds of elephants, healthy populations of endangered wild dogs, and thriving birdlife. Activities

At Linyanti Bush Camp, embark on remarkable game drives and walking safaris. Traditional mokoro safaris through the shallow waterways of the Linyanti Wetlands (one of northern Botswana’s hidden gems) provide an unforgettable wildlife experience. Take in breathtaking aerial views with a helicopter ride over the concession – an extraordinary way to spot wildlife and traverse the unique landscapes of Chobe National Park. Bird enthusiasts will revel in the rich diversity of birdlife that flourishes in the area; expect to spot species such as the African fish eagle and the saddle-billed stork.

Luxury Accommodation

Linyanti Bush Camp’s six luxury tented suites boast private viewing decks with sweeping views; each suite features gauze sliding doors which offer 180-degree views of the surrounding bush. Revel in the luxury of a king-size bed draped in billowing mosquito netting as well as a writing desk for capturing your memories. For those celebrating romance, the honeymoon suite offers an even more exclusive experience with a luxurious outdoor bath, ensuring a memorable and enchanting stay.

KHWAI

After breakfast, you will do a game drive transfer from Linyanti Bush Camp to Saile Airstrip and a scheduled safari aircraft flight from Saile Airstrip to Khwai Airstrip.

Experience a Luxurious Safari in the Northeastern Okavango Delta

Khwai Lediba is a stand-out Signature Experience located in the northeastern Okavango Delta. Nestled within the private Khwai Community Concession, the Experience borders the outstanding Moremi Game Reserve – the oldest protected section of the Okavango Delta. Unlike a national park, the Moremi Game Reserve was founded by the BaTwana tribal authorities, making it the first wildlife sanctuary established by an African tribe on their ancestral land. It’s one of the most extraordinary reserves in Africa that is teeming with wildlife. At Khwai Lediba, take in magnificent landscapes and search for majestic wildlife on a timeless safari – elevated and exclusive.  

Activities

Known as the heart of the Okavango Delta, the Moremi Game Reserve is an intricate landscape of pans, floodplains, lagoons, grasslands, acacia forests, savannahs, and mopane woodlands. Explore the wonders of the Reserve on remarkable game drives, walking safaris, and night drives through the concession. Glide through the tranquil waters of the Khwai River on traditional mokoro safaris, expertly guided by local polers, and revel in the exceptional birdlife that habituates in the river’s shallow waterways. 

Design

Khwai Lediba’s interior elegantly reflects the lush greens and rich golds of the surrounding landscape, blending it beautifully with nature. The design combines sophistication and African authenticity, providing a serene retreat to unwind after a day of safari adventures. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or bask in the sun on the spacious deck with sunbeds, all while taking in the unique sights and sounds of the Botswanan bush. The cozy lounge and reading area offer a peaceful escape, while the boutique shop features local crafts and unique gifts. End the day by the shared firepit, where you can relax under the stars and savor the warmth of the fire.

The lodge offers six luxury tented suites, one luxury family tented suite, and one luxury honeymoon tented suite – each with a private viewing deck for optimal views of the African bush. The family suite is thoughtfully designed with interconnecting bedrooms, offering a perfect balance of personal space and togetherness. All suites are elegantly furnished with king-size beds, mosquito netting, and include indoor and outdoor showers, along with a fully stocked mini bar. Guests will depart the camp for Maun Airport where they will continue with onward travel arrangements.
