Introduction

This program shows the most important cultural Heritage of the Bahian Capital. It explores the beginnings of colonial Brazil with the arrival of the Portuguese, the indigenous culture of the native people and the strong influence of the Africans.
A full-day city tour, including a panoramic view of the city of Salvador followed by a walk through the city's rich historical center and the colorful Pelourinho. A half-day tour of the 4 main art museums of the city, where you can find a complete range of artistic options. From the purest of colonial baroque, to the most modern and avant-garde contemporary Brazilian art, passing through ancient African art with pieces dedicated to offerings and rituals, masks and wood art that showcase the wealth of the African continent. Lastly, the program includes a full-day religious tour to follow in the footsteps of the Bahian Saint Irmã Dulce, contemporary to Teresa of Calcutta in her life and in her work. Without a doubt a proposal for those who love art, architecture, traditions and the immense cultural mix of Bahía.
