Introduction

The Sabi Sand is the oldest and most successful private game reserve in South Africa. It was founded in the 1950’s by a group of private individual land owners. The reserve is about 65000 hectares’ bordering the Kruger National Park. Sabi Sand is home to a wide verity of animals, this includes the famous Big Five. On Safari there is always lots to do. Choose from 2 activities per day as below.

Night Safaris, enables you to spot the nocturnally active wildlife. After sundowners in the bush, the drive continues with the help of powerful spotlights which helps to spot the nocturnal species in the dark. Followed by dining in a traditional boma around a roaring fire under the African stars.

Morning Safari starts with an early morning wakeup call for coffee/tea and
biscuits before the drive departs. Breakfast is back at the lodge around 10h00.

Morning Bush Walks are a once in a lifetime experience. Also done early morning when the air is still pleasantly cool and traces of the nocturnal animals can still easily be identified.
