One final Congress in Anaheim. One unforgettable experience.

There is something special about being part of a story that has been unfolding for generations.

Since 1970, the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress has called the Anaheim Convention Centre home, bringing together thousands of people from across the United States and around the world for days of faith, learning, music, prayer, celebration, connection and renewal. In 2028, Congress will begin a new chapter in Long Beach, California. But first, there is Anaheim 2027.

The 2027 Congress will be the final Congress held at the Anaheim Convention Centre, making this year a unique moment in the history of one of the world’s largest and most vibrant gatherings of people committed to Catholic faith, education and ministry.

The experience begins with Youth Day, where young people are invited into the powerful theme: Humble. Chosen. Loved. “I Am!” It is a day about identity, belonging and discovering the incredible truth that each of us is seen, known, chosen and loved. Through music, speakers, prayer, celebration and shared experience, Youth Day creates space for young people to ask big questions, encounter faith in fresh ways and discover what it means to confidently say, “I Am!”

Then Congress opens into its Adult Days with an invitation drawn from the words of Jesus in John 15:4: Remain in Me. Live Boldly! These words invite us to stay connected to what gives life, to deepen our faith and to allow that connection to shape the way we live, lead, teach, serve and make a difference. Congress is not simply about gathering information. It is about encountering ideas, people and experiences that can renew our sense of purpose and send us home ready to live our faith with greater courage and imagination.

Expect powerful keynote speakers, inspiring workshops, extraordinary music, prayer, liturgy, creativity, conversation and thousands of people sharing the same desire to grow, learn and make a difference. Whether this is your first Congress or you have been many times before, 2027 is a year to be there.

As well as attending the Congress, we will visit a Catholic primary and secondary school, HomeBoy Industries, Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral, the new Christ Cathedral (Crystal Cathedral) and a number   of other educational, religious and tourist highlights.
