About Samantha Vermeulen
Samantha Vermeulen is the Director and Instructor of SLV Yoga House based in Gaborone, Botswana and are focused on customer satisfaction and personal relationship with each client.
As a yoga instructor, Samantha's philosophy centers on the belief that yoga is a holistic pathway to well-being, integrating mind, body, and spirit.
"In each class, I aim to create a space where students can connect deeply with their breath and bodies, cultivating an awareness that fosters emotional resilience and mental clarity, and encourage my students to explore various breathing techniques, emphasizing the profound impact that mindful breathing can have on our physical state and emotional well-being ".
Ultimately, my goal as an instructor is one of empowerment, connection, and transformation. It is about creating a space where you can explore your potential, cultivate self-awareness, and develop a sense of belonging, an invitation to breathe, move, and grow stronger together.

About Chobe Bakwena
Bakwena Lodge is an intimate, privately owned (citizen owned) boutique lodge on the banks of the Chobe River offering a fully inclusive safari experience in an area which hosts a huge variety of bird species and with some of the finest game viewing to be had worldwide.
Game Drives & Boat Cruises: We believe guests come to Africa to see wildlife and Chobe has the highest concentrations of game, unparalleled anywhere in the world.
Because our activities are IN-HOUSE we are not bound by set times and activities are not limited to 3 hours. Our vehicles are consistently the only vehicles at both lion and leopard sightings.
Guests are also offered a full day in the Chobe National Park with picnic lunch or a lunchtime boat cruise on the Chobe River.

- Guests also have the opportunity to bicycle ride to the Kazungula Bridge (4 km from Bakwena to the bridge / 8 km return) It’s not only the stunning game that we want you to get close and personal to – an unguided or guided bicycle tour or village walk offers you the chance to experience and understand the local customs and culture and take a little slice of village life back home with you.

Unguided Victoria Falls Day Trip
A full day activity to experience the magic of the Falls in neighbouring Zimbabwe. You will be transported by air-conditioned mini-bus to the entrance of the National Park for a tour of the Falls. You will then be collected and transported to lunch, into town, to the local markets or for a spot of shopping, as you wish. Please note, although we will happily make suggestions this is an unguided activity and excludes park fees, visa fees (USD$ cash only for park & visa fees) and lunch and the transfer may be shared with other guests)
