Chad is a destination that many would never consider and many have never heard of as being a place where you could even see wildlife - the reality is that this incredible destination has some of the finest wildlife viewing in Africa and with virtually no other safari vehicle in site to spoil the view. It is big 5 country in Zakouma and many of the species of wildlife would be familiar to you but all a little different from what you have seen before in terms of coloration or being a sub species of the well known types. These include West African Lions, Tiang, Central African Savannah Buffalo, Buffon's Kob, Kordofan Giraffe, Red Fronted Gazelle, Roan Antelope, Lelwel Hartebeest and a birding density and variety that is off the charts, the most famous is seeing the vast flocks of Red Billed Quelea that are so big they even collapse trees when they roost.  This is a very special safari experience.
