Introduction

Nothing will prepare you for the awesome power and spectacle that is Victoria Falls or the beauty and majesty of the vast herds of elephants and buffalo in Chobe, Botswana. The Falls are the world's largest sheet of falling water. As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, and the Zambezi River which feeds the Falls are also the natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It goes by two official names; Victoria Falls and Mosi-oa-Tunya which translates as The Smoke that Thunders. Its spray can be seen 40kms away and the sound rumbles through the basalt cliffs of the gorge into which it plummets. Not only are the Victoria Falls in Zambia, and the Chobe in Botswana beautiful, they’re also the location of some of the most memorable experiences you’ll ever have.
