Whale of Trail 2019

Experience the Best of South Africa, including running the legendary Whale of Trail Run. South Africa’s iconic five day Whale Trail hiking route is offered as a challenge to runners capable of embracing all 53km and 1900m elevation of spectacular mountain fynbos, technical rocky ridgelines, sandy beach stretches and endless, mind blowing, beautiful vistas in one day.

We'll start off in Cape Town, the Mother City, nestled under Table Mountain. Here we will have a few days to explore all that Cape Town has to offer. Then we head up the coast to the to De Hoop Nature Reserve, where the Whale of Trail run is based. Here we will be able to immerse ourselves in the stunning coastal scenery along the trail, run the race,  and when that is done, we will finish off in style with an Ocean Safari or even Diving with Great White Sharks! And finally a Big Five African Safari on land.
