Luxury Tanzania Safari

Day 1:

Upon your arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met airside by a dmAFRICA representative, who, after helping you complete fast track immigration and customs formalities, will escort you to your dmAFRICA driver and closed sided 4x4 dmAFRICA private vehicle for your transfer to Legendary Lodge; a drive of approximately 1 hour, for check-in and your overnight arrangements at the Legendary Lodge in a luxury cottage on a full board basis.

Day 2:

This morning after breakfast at the Legendary Lodge, you will be met by your private guide and closed sided 4x4 vehicle that will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, where you can relax this afternoon, looking out at the fantastic views of the Ngorongoro Crater below, the world’s largest intact caldera.

Overnight, you shall be staying at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge on a full board basis in your luxury suite.

Day 3:

This morning, after breakfast you will descend to the crater floor for a half day Crater safari with picnic lunch. In the Ngorongoro Crater, you have a great chance to see rhino, one of the ‘Big 5’ (the other members being: elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo). In the afternoon, you will exit the Crater and be driven to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for check in, dinner and your overnight arrangements in suites.

Day 4:

This morning, after breakfast at the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, you shall be transferred to Lake Manyara Airstrip for the scheduled flight to Sasakwa Airstrip in the Serengeti Grumeti Reserves, departing at 09:00 and landing into Sasakwa at 10:15 (NOTE: Luggage allowance is strictly 15 kilograms per person in soft sided bags).

On arrival into Sasakwa Airstrip you shall be met by your open sided Singita 4x4 safari vehicle that will transfer you to the Sabora Tented Camp with game viewing en route. In the afternoon, you shall head back out in your open sided vehicle for game viewing within the Grumeti Reserves before returning to the Sabora Tented Camp for your overnight arrangements on a full board basis in a luxury tent.

Day 5, 6 & 7:

Today you will experience a full day of game activities within the Grumeti Reserves with your open sided 4x4 Singita safari vehicle. Being located in a private conservancy, a number of activities are available that would not be possible inside the park boundaries, such as: game walks, night game drives, off road game drives, horse riding and bush meals! You will be staying overnight at Singita Sabora Tented Camp in your luxury tent.

Day 8:

Today, after breakfast you depart Sabora Tented Camp and will be driven to the Sasakwa Airstrip for the scheduled service flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip. At the Lake Manyara Airstrip, you will then be met by your open sided 4x4 vehicle, which will be transferring you to your overnight accommodation in Chem Chem Lodge, where in the afternoon, you’ll head out into the private Chem Chem conservancy for game activities in your open sided 4x4 vehicle. Overnight you’ll be staying at the Chem Chem Lodge in a luxury tented suite. Chem Chem is home to the slow safari, where you can take the game activities at your own pace and unwind from the excitement of your safari!

Day 9 & 10:

Today you’ll have a full day of game activities within the private Chem Chem Conservancy area. Overnight, you’ll be staying in your luxury tented suite at Chem Chem Lodge.

Day 11:

This morning after breakfast, you’ll leave Chem Chem and head by road to the Kilimanjaro International Airport, from where you’ll connect with your onward international arrangements.
