GRATUITIES

While we recognize that this is a voluntary gesture on your behalf, most guest do tip the guides and staff. Normally anglers tip each boat a sum of $50.00 to $75.00 per day of fishing and the staff about $20.00 per day. The Lodge will explain gratuities as well. It is also a good idea to carry some small billsl for taxis and or bell hops.

FISHING TACKLE

The lodge is proud to offer the best selection in the Bahamas, it is always preferred to come prepared but we recommend you pick up most of your flies at the lodge as we have several customs patterns that consistently produce.

Rods - 7-9 weight, 9' saltwater rods

Out favorites - Sage Xi2, G. Loomis Crosscurrent GLX, Scott X2S, Wiinston Boron II-MX

Reels - High quality machined aluminum reels with a disc drag and capable of holding 200 yards of backing

Our favorites - Tibor, Abel, Lamson, Hatch, Nautilus

Fly Line - floating or clear intermediate tip (9') saltwater flyline

Out favorites - Scientific Anglers Bonefish, Rio Bonefish

Flies - Most bonefish patterns in tan and pink work well, we recommend having varying weights and sizes of a few key patterns. Leader and Tippet - Leaders 10-12' 15 lb fluorocarbon (we suggest a new leader daily). Tippet flurocarbon 10-20 lb - we recommend Rio for both your leaders and tipet.
