Starting on the 8th November 2026 with a flight from Delhi to Leh

Travel overland from the east to the west of Ladakh, starting from the capital city of Leh, passing through the Shan Valley, lower Indus region, Kargil and Drass. Combined with stunning landscapes and the diverse ethnic cultures of Ladakh, this will be an unforgettable adventure: crisp air, the peaks of the Himalayas bathed in the golden glow of the rising sun, the stark beauty of snow-capped mountains, deep gorges, and rocky outcrops.

Your expert guides, deeply knowledgeable about the region and its wildlife, lead the way, their keen eyes scanning the terrain for any signs of movement. Every rustle of the wind, every distant call, heightens your senses. 

Firstly, we will be searching for the captivating Himalayan Brown Bear. Watching these powerful creatures forage and move across the mountains is a humbling experience. These animals are critically endangered so watching their sheer size and strength, contrasted with their often playful behaviour, offers a unique glimpse into the wild heart of Ladakh.

Moving back eastwards towards Leh where we will base ourselves, our next target species is the Snow Leopard, with its strikingly beautiful coat blending seamlessly into the rocky surroundings.  Observing this apex predator in its natural habitat, gracefully navigating the steep cliffs, would be a rare privilege that few get to experience. 

Our last stop is Hanle, in the east of the region, where one of the most charismatic wild felines lives - the Pallas's Cat. In Hanle, a remote high-altitude region of Ladakh, these small but fierce predators thrive in an extreme environment few other species can endure. Hanle’s isolation and pristine habitat make it a unique stronghold for this rarely seen species, offering one of the best chances to observe these secretive felines in the wild.
