18-day Nelson Mandela's Long Walk to Freedom Tour

Introduction

This unique guided journey will take you to the major sites important to the life and history of Nelson Mandela. From his years spent as an anti-Apartheid activist in Johannesburg to his capture site near Pietermaritzburg and to Cape Town where he spent 27 years imprisoned in and around the city. We also visit the province Mandela hailed from, the Eastern Cape and visit the metropolitan area named after him – Nelson Mandela Bay. This is an informative tour which takes you through South Africa in the footsteps of the country’s most revered citizen, and it also includes some of the country’s most popular and visited destinations and attractions, including a safari experience which Mr Mandela himself once enjoyed!
