Mary-Anne has led Art Safari tours in the Valley since 2003. It is her favourite wildlife area of Africa. Each year she has painted the detail of this amazing wildlife that lives on every turn of the labyrinthine trails, and each bend in the river.
Tom Shepherd is an accomplished artist, capable of sketching wildlife quickly with a dynamic style. Equipped with plentiful painting techniques he will open your eyes to a new way of observing and seeing!
Together they will teach you how to look at the bush and respond quickly and graphically to the sudden arrival of moving animals.
All standards are welcomed. Tuition will include daily excursions every non-travelling day and sundowner drinks before supper when we look at the day’s artwork and discuss progress.
Your safari guides are local experts with specialist knowledge of the South Luangwa National Park. They will work closely with your art tutor to expand your knowledge and appreciation of the bush.
