This relaxed self-drive trip begins in Johannesburg and travels along the N1, to Gariep Dam, the largest dam in South Africa, before continuing to Matjiesfontein. Your travels will then take you into the Winelands of Paarl, and from here you will have the opportunity to also visit vineyards in Stellenbosch and Franschoek. You may choose to stay in one of these areas, before reaching your destination, Cape Town, where you will stay for 5 nights, giving you plenty of time to explore 'The Mother City'.
This itinerary can be done in reverse, starting in Cape Town and ending in Johannesburg, we can add or take away nights according to your preference. Let us know if you have something slightly different in mind!
