A jungle paradise spanning a total area of 19 000 square kilometres, Madidi National Park lies in the upper Amazon basin of northern Bolivia. This pristine patchwork of ecosystems is covered by winding rivers, rolling grasslands, gleaming lakes, snow-capped mountains, and tropical rainforests. Possible sightings of wildlife include jaguars, sloths, vicuñas, pumas, spectacled bears, capybaras, pink river dolphins, and the titi monkey.
