Situated in Central Namibia, the cosmopolitan city of Windhoek serves as the capital of the country. Stony walls rise up sharply on both sides of the canyon, while birds roost in its crags and lizards dart along the ledges. The Epacha Private Game Reserve is one of the largest in Namibia, a 13, 000-hectare area of enthralling hills and plains fringing the famous Etosha National Park.
