Formerly the northern part of Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania's Nyerere National Park is Africa’s largest National Park. Stretching over an impressive 30,893 square kilometres, the park is home to some of the world’s largest concentrations of wildlife, and the incredible diversity and sheer volume of animals draw visitors from around the globe. Travellers can look forward to spotting a wide collection of common and rare species including the famous Big Five, some rare species of antelopes like Roan Antelope, and large concentrations of elephant and hippos. Stone Town

Situated on the western coast of Zanzibar’s Unguja Island, UNESCO-listed Stone Town is the oldest part of Zanzibar City and is the cultural heart of the island. The town’s photogenic winding alleys are fringed by grand historic buildings, bustling bazaars, a glorious sultan’s palace, and the intriguing House of Wonders - named as such for exhibiting running water and electricity as never before in 1883. Stone Town also boasts numerous sacred buildings - over fifty mosques, six Hindu Temples, a Catholic, and an Anglican Cathedral - all of which are beautiful in unique ways. Fumba is a village on the Tanzanian island of Unguja, the largest and most populated in the Zanzibar Archipelago. The town lies just 30 minutes southwest of the historic capital, Stone Town. It also lies at the end of the Fumba Peninsula on one of Zanzibar’s most secluded beaches, overlooking the Menai Bay. The peninsula, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty by the World Wildlife Federation, forms a significant part of the Menai Bay Conservation Area, an impressive marine haven with pristine and colourful coral reef systems and abundant sea life.
