Located in western Zimbabwe, Hwange National Park (formerly Wankie Game Reserve) is the largest natural reserve in the country and is famous for its rich diversity of wildlife. The northern and western areas of the park are different - the northern area is encompassed by the Zambezi watershed, while the western part consists of grasslands, marshes, and scattered woodlands. The natural seeps such as Nehimba and Shakwanki, where animals dig for water, are particularly notable. The park is home to one of the biggest elephant populations in the world, as well as around 100 mammal species, and several protected animals including the endangered wild dog, critically endangered black rhino, and rare roan and sable. Around 500 bird species also inhabit the area. Visitors can look forward to bush hikes, game drives, and horse riding safaris.
Situated in northeastern Botswana on the banks of the Chobe River, the town of Kasane is the main gateway to Chobe National Park and one of southern Africa's premier safari destinations. Renowned for its exceptional wildlife viewing, Kasane offers game drives and river cruises where visitors can encounter large herds of elephants, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles, as well as abundant birdlife. Its location near the borders of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe also makes it a convenient base for exploring the wider region. Golden sunsets reflected on the river, the sounds of wildlife and a relaxed safari atmosphere combine to make Kasane an unforgettable destination for nature lovers.
The Khwai area of the Okavango lies along the northern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve. Khwai Community Area has unfenced boundaries allowing wildlife to move freely between the woodlands in the wet season when water is plentiful and back to permanent rivers and lagoons in the dry season. The Khwai area offers the same wildlife experience as the Moremi Game Reserve with the added advantage of being a private concession, which means the ability to do walking safaris and night drives. Don't miss the opportunity to soak up beautiful views of the scenic landscape and spot an array of wildlife.
NG12 Concession lies in the northern Okavango Delta of Botswana, forming a remote mosaic of seasonal floodplains, palm-studded islands, waterways and mopane woodland. As a private wilderness area, it offers an intimate safari atmosphere with limited camps and few vehicles, creating a sense of seclusion between land and water. Visitors experience game drives, mokoro journeys in season, and guided encounters with elephants, lions, wild dogs and rich birdlife across changing floodplains. Sunlight flickers across still channels, papyrus rustles in the breeze, and evenings bring the calls of frogs and distant predators. Camps are typically small and rustic, shaped by the shifting moods of the floodplains and the rhythm of the Delta itself.
