Watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean at exquisite Bentota Beach. Days 5 - 7

The picturesque village of Balapitiya is located just 75 km from Colombo and can be reached along the coastal road or by train. Soft golden beaches frame the village on the ocean side, and the Maduganga Lake with its green shores borders it on the inland side. Balapitiya is traditionally a fishing village, and fishing trips or river safaris can be arranged while the lagoons and lake are a great attraction for bird watchers and nature lovers.
