Knysna is a town in the Western Cape province and is one of the top holiday destinations along the Garden Route. Nestled on the banks of a breathtaking lagoon, there is nothing like its natural beauty - with indigenous forests, tranquil lakes, and golden beaches. Tsitsikamma National Park

Days 10 - 11

As part of the picturesque region known as the Garden Route, the Tsitsikamma National Park is found in the Southern part of South Africa. There are spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, rocky shorelines, lush forests, and fynbos, lined with ancient rivers that meander to the ocean. Several guided or self-guided hiking trails are found here, and the most famous of which is the Otter Trail. Dolphins play in the breaking waves, whereas the ocean's gentle giant, the southern right whale, breeches nearby. This is one of the largest areas where fishermen and divers have a 'no take' policy regarding fishing.

Greater Addo

Days 11 - 13

The Eastern Cape's Greater Addo Region is primarily dominated by South Africa's third-largest national park, Addo Elephant Park. This malaria-free region offers the famous Big 5, and due to its enormous expansions towards the ocean, now includes a marine section with seasonal whales and sharks. An incredible variety of fauna and flora are found within the area - from the dry karoo basin to the subtropical forests and grasslands. The region of Greater Addo has a vast amount of rich biodiversity and remains largely unexplored, and it's in the mystery that leaves people wanting more.
