Mary River

Days 3 - 5

Flowing through Australia’s Northern Territory, the Mary River stretches for over 220 kilometres encompassing the Mary River National Park and spanning lush wetlands, monsoon forests, and freshwater billabongs. Mary River makes for an excellent stop on the way to Kakadu. Take a leisurely cruise down the river and view abundant wildlife such as jumping crocodiles, kangaroo and wallaby; visit Fogg Dam Conservation Area to view over 200 bird species including kingfishers, herons and kites; and join a fishing charter and enjoy world-class fishing along the river.

Mary River

Perth is Western Australia’s star attraction. Hailed as the country’s ‘sunniest' capital – and blessed by the lapping waters of the Swan River as well as miles of coastline – it attracts foodies, fashionistas and fun lovers alike. Visit Kings Park and Botanic Garden; the city’s splendid cultural precinct where you’ll find art galleries, the Western Australian Museum, and the State Ballet and Opera; head down to the beach to swim with dolphins; saunter down the King Street precinct for a taste of Gucci, Louis Vuitton and company; and if you’re into anything vintage, visit Guildford for some retro retail therapy.

Cape Range National Park

Days 8 - 11

Cape Range National Park is located adjacent to Ningaloo Marine Park and boasts spectacular rocky gorges carved by ancient rivers that adjoin one of the most pristine and beautiful coastlines in the world. Visitors can explore the park's rugged landscape of spectacular canyons along drive trails into Charles Knife Canyon and Shothole Canyon or follow the walking trails through the deep gorges such as Mandu Mandu and across the scenic high country at Charles Knife Canyon. Camping is popular along the Cape Range coast, especially from Easter to October.

Yallingup

Days 11 - 13

Yallingup is found on the southwestern coast of Australia. This popular destination within the Margaret River Region offers plenty, from sunny beaches to fantastic natural reserves and cultural activities. The white-sand beaches of Yallingup, Smiths, Three Bears and Injidup are home to excellent surfing, snorkelling and swimming opportunities. They are linked together by the wonderful Cape to Cape Track. The Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, meanwhile, is home to two must-see attractions: a fantastic over-water boardwalk at Canal Rocks, and the incredible Ngilgi Cave, which boasts karst formations that can be explored on Adventure Tours. For culture lovers, numerous vineyards in the region offer tours and tastings, such as Wills Domain. Yallingup is also known for its burgeoning Arts Precinct, with dozens of galleries to check out on Caves Road.
