Resting on the western reaches of the Strait of Georgia, Galiano Island is a narrow strip of land sandwiched between Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. Dubbed the Jewel of the Strait of Georgia, this magnificently scenic island boasts untouched landscapes of mountains, bluffs, cliffs, reefs, peaceful beaches and flourishing forest reserves. It is also the first stop along the Tsawwassen-Gulf Island Route.
