Villandry

Villandry is situated in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France. It is best known as the home of the magnificent Chateau de Villandry. Visitors flock here to enjoy the incredible Renaissance interiors of the chateau as well as the beautifully manicured garden boasting an exceptional collection of terraced gardens. Don’t miss the magical Night of a Thousand Lights held at Castle Villandry every July. Other highlights in and around Villandry include: the Church of St. Etienne featuring a vast dome of 6 metres in diametre, the Caves of Savonnieres, the castle of Azay-le-Rideau and a network of hiking and cycling routes traversing the incredibly scenic Loire Valley.
