Masaya Classic

Today in the morning, our private tour guide and transport will pick you up at your hotel in Granada to go to the Masaya Volcano National Park which is located 30 minutes away. Once you get there, you’ll make the corresponding entrance to head to the volcanic cone Comalito, a 45 minutes walk to visit this baby volcano. Here, you will have 360º panoramic views of the Masaya Lagoon and surroundings. Right after, you will pass by the museum to see the history and geology of this volcano. Afterwards, you will go to the Handicrafts Market, where you can enjoy and buy different Nicaraguan products such as: leather, woodwork, embroidery, paintings, shoes, guayaberas, hammocks, among others.

Later on, you will visit the second white town “Catarina” where you will see its colorful nurseries, bamboo handicrafts and the best viewpoint towards the largest lagoon of this country with panoramic views of: Mombacho Volcano, Lake Nicaragua, Granada City and more. Then you will visit San Juan de Oriente known as: ''The Cradle of Nicaraguan Ceramics”, where you will visit a handicraft school workshop to learn about the process of the elaboration of our pottery.  Then, you’re returning to Granada City.
