Half Day Tour - Abismo Anhumas (Rappel down and snorkeling or diving)

In order to carry out the dive, the training takes place the night before (on a 10-meter platform) to practice abseiling and to test the equipment (wetsuit, fins and balancing vests). At this time, general information on diving activities and the tour departure time will be provided. At the agreed diving time, the diving instructor will wait at Abismo Anhumas, where the equipment will be set up and basic descent instructions will be given (72 meters). The descent takes place until you reach a floating bridge, with the necessary support of the monitors already waiting on the platform.

Then there is a raft ride across the lake, where various geological formations are seen. The lake is 120 meters long, 80 meters deep and as wide as a football field. Dozens of limestone cones fill the lake and its surroundings.

Snorkeling

From there a float with mask and snorkel departs, led by another guide. An experience is offered to learn about underwater geological formations. Average water temperature: 18 ° C. Change your clothes after swimming to prepare for the abseiling.

Diving

From there begins the dive in pairs and accompanied by a professional with an average duration of 40 minutes. The dive takes place at a depth between 7 and 18 meters, which reveals new images, brightness and the entire width of the cave with formations 20 meters high. The average temperature is 18ºC. After the dive, you change clothes to prepare for abseiling.
