Departure from Manaus for Vila Paraíso (the set of the movie "The Jungle"). Your visit begins at a waterfront warehouse where dinghies are shipped around the world. Here we enter the Rubber Master House, whose majestic architecture shows the richness of Brazilian rubber plantations from the flowering and war effort of the industry.
During the tour, visit the "big tent" where the tools for making rubber were kept. You will also see the "chapel" and the flour shop. Then take a short walk in the jungle to see the rubber trees and witness the harvesting process. You will see where the rubber balls have been placed to begin the smoking process. Finally, visit the humble houses where the rubber extractors lived. The house shows the life and habits of the ancient age of rubber mining.
