On arrival at Msembe airstrip you are met by your host, after introductions enjoy a long game drive into the wilderness (about 3 hours) depending on the camps location. With a fabulous bush lunch and refreshments en route arrive at the camp late afternoon or early evening and settle in after a warm welcome.
Early morning departure on foot after breakfast, then an approximately 10 km's /5 hr bush walk seeking out the highights of the particular area you are walking in. Depending on the walk and distance covered by the walk, return to camp on foot or be collected by vehilce for a freshly cooked meal. After activity options include learning about tracking, short walks into the vast kopje and Inselberg systems (huge rock outcrops), specialist birding or normal game drives (to name a few).
Another early morning departure in foot after breakfast as you push further into Ruaha's wilderness. Same distances and time involved as the day before with a return to Base Camp for hot showers and a leisurely lunch. After lunch the usual afternoon activities will apply with a return to camp for campfire drinks and dinner.
A more relaxed breakfast today before departure for the airstrip. It is a long drive back to the airport and the time of departure depends on your departure flight. A transfer can also be arranged to any other camp in the park.
