Days 1 - 3: Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

This package starts from O.R Tambo International Airport on the morning of day 1 where you will depart for The Timbavati private Nature Reserve by means of a scheduled Shuttle service. The shuttle transfer takes you on a 6 hour journey through some beautiful countryside, stopping for comfort breaks and coffee along the way.

On arrival at Umlani Buschcamp you will check in and be taken to your room. You can then freshen up before game drive. Afterward, you will return for dinner and a nice relaxing evening. 

Umlani was founded in 1989 by Marco and Marie-Louise Schiess in the central section of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. In 1993, the fences between the Timbavati and the Kruger were removed to allow for wildlife migration and this pristine wilderness area became known as the Greater Kruger National Park.

Days 4 - 6: Cape Town

Your last morning at Umlani Bushcamp will conclude with a morning game drive followed by breakfast. Your bags will then we collected where you will greet Umlani and be transferred to Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Cape Town. 

On arrival in Cape Town Airport and after your collecting your luggage you will be transferred to The Commodore Hotel for 3 nights.

The city of Cape Town watched over by the majestic Table Mountain is South Africa’s oldest town and one of South Africa’s jewels. With its melting pot of cultures, rich historical and cultural heritage and the pristine white beaches that sweep along its coastline, the Western Cape has much to offer anyone visiting the city. In Cape Town itself, there is a juxtaposition of old and new, with major shopping centers, such as the Canal Walk Mall, sandwiched tightly with historical landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope and Robben Island.

Days 7 - 8: Franschhoek

After breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to the beautiful town of Franschhoek in the wine valley. You will be taken to Mont D'Or Franschhoek for your 2 nights accommodation. 

World-renowned for its spectacular beauty, superb Cape wines and world-class restaurants, our beautiful village of Franschhoek is a definite must-visit destination on any trip to the Western Cape of South Africa. Founded in 1688 by French Huguenots, our scenic gem nestles in a rich and fertile valley, between glorious towering mountains, right in the beautiful Heart of the Cape Winelands.

Day 9: End of Itinerary

The morning, after breakfast, in this beautiful part of the world will conclude your itinerary and your will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your departure flight.
