Classic Zambia hiking & river safari (7 nights)

Day notes

Make you way to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, and check in to Proflight Zambia flight to Mfuwe departing at 10:40am. On arrival at Mfuwe Airport, you will be met by a Bushcamp Company driver, for a road transfer into South Luangwa National Park, and Mfuwe Lodge.

You can enjoy lunch at Mfuwe Lodge, before meeting your guide for the game drive transfer through the park to Chindeni Bushcamp. Enjoy game viewing enroute, and arrive at the camp in the late afternoon, and in time for sunset.

Day notes

After breakfast this morning you will depart on a hike towards your next bushcamp, Chamilandu. You will be met half way for a well earned picnic lunch on banks of the river. You then have a game drive into camp, arriving there in time for tea and afternoon activity.

Day notes

After breakfast at Chamilandu, you will be transferred by road back to Mfuwe Airport. Connect with a scheduled Proflight Zambia flight to the Lower Zambezi and the Jeki Airstrip, departing at 11:10am. On arrival at Jeki at 12:40pm, you will be met by a guide for a game drive transfer through the park to Sausage Tree Camp, located on the  banks of the Zambezi River. Arrive in time for a late lunch.

Enjoy three days of exciting safari activities in the Lower Zambezi National Park, on land and on the water. You may also wish to try your hand with rod and line for a tiger fish. 

Day notes

After a morning safari activity and breakfast, you wil be transferred to the airstrip for you flight back to Lusaka.

Connect with Proflight Zambia flight departing at 12:55pm. Arrive Lusaka at 1:30pm.

On arrival in Lusaka, connect with your onward flights, or arrangements (to be decided).
