Your transfer driver will welcome you in the arrivals hall at OR Tambo airport. Your journey begins as you leave Johannesburg and travel north into the Waterberg, a landscape of rolling mountains, pristine bushveld, and dramatic escarpments. After about 3hours enter the private Welgevonden Game Reserve, a malaria-free Big Five sanctuary known for its exclusivity and unspoiled beauty.
Arrive at Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway, perfectly perched on a rocky ridge overlooking a river gorge. Suites are elegant, intimate, and designed for deep relaxation.

Continue with a brief visit to the charming Saint François d’Assise Church before arriving at Sugar World, a former sugar estate transformed into an immersive modern museum. Day 11 — Robinson Crusoe Discovery Tour

Set off for the famed Île aux Cerfs, a stunning island off the east coast known for its powder-white beaches and turquoise lagoon. Although deer can no longer be found here, the island remains a paradise of crystal-clear waters, soft sands, and abundant activities. Spend the day relaxing on picture-perfect shores, swimming, or snorkelling in the warm lagoon.
Your experience includes a delightful lunch on Îlot Mangénie, adding a special touch to this idyllic island adventure.
Day 12 — Southern Tales Tour
Discover Mauritius’ dramatic southern landscapes. Wander volcanic plains, rugged coastlines, lush forests, and cultural landmarks that tell the stories of the island’s diverse origins and traditions.
Your southern exploration begins at Grand Bassin (Ganga Talao), a sacred crater lake nestled in the mountains and considered the most important Hindu pilgrimage site in Mauritius. Continue to the scenic Alexandra Falls Viewpoint, offering sweeping vistas across the Black River Gorges National Park.
Next, discover the fascinating Seven Coloured Earth, a rare geological phenomenon of naturally multicoloured sand dunes. The journey continues to the Chamarel Rum Distillery for a guided visit and a tasting of its artisanal rums, followed by lunch at the on-site restaurant.
Conclude the tour with a visit to Curious Corner, an interactive world of illusions and puzzles, providing a fun and surprising finale to this day of discovery.
