Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, the group will be warmly welcomed by a guide fluent in their respective language. The guide will provide a comprehensive briefing about the tour before departing for Otjiwarongo via Windhoek. Along the way, you will make a stop in Okahandja to visit a local craft market, where you can explore a variety of traditional Namibian handmade items.

After breakfast, we depart for Etosha National Park. Before reaching the park, we make a detour to visit Omapaha Himba Village. Omapaha is closely linked to Otjikandero Himba Village, and together the two communities work to preserve and sustain the traditional Ovahimba culture. Their partnership helps ensure that the tribe can continue living according to their ancestral customs while also supporting orphans within the community.

Following our village visit, we continue our journey to Etosha National Park, renowned for its abundant wildlife and vast salt pan. After arriving at our lodge, located just outside the park, we set out on our first safari drive into Etosha. Accompanied by our guide, we explore the waterholes near Okaukuejo and Anderson Gate, where wildlife sightings are often plentiful.
Optional open-vehicle game drives can be arranged with the lodge, subject to availability and time permitting.

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the abundant wildlife of Etosha National Park, which surrounds the vast, shimmering salt desert known as the Etosha Pan. The park is home to four of the Big Five — elephant, lion, leopard, and rhino — and offers some of the finest game viewing opportunities in Southern Africa.
Etosha was proclaimed Namibia’s first conservation area in 1907 by Governor von Lindequist. Although the park covers an immense area, visitors primarily access the southern edge of the pan, where wildlife congregates around numerous waterholes.
Game viewing in Etosha largely centers on these waterholes, some of which are natural springs and others supplied by boreholes. These are ideal spots to observe the park’s remarkable biodiversity, including over 114 mammal species and more than 340 bird species — a true highlight for avid birders.
Commonly sighted wildlife includes giraffe, blue wildebeest, plains and mountain zebra, hyena, lion, leopard, and antelope species such as kudu, oryx, and eland. Endangered species such as the black rhino, cheetah, and the rare black-faced impala can also be found here.
An extensive network of roads connects more than 30 waterholes, allowing for a comprehensive safari experience. Each area of the park offers unique landscapes and wildlife encounters, ensuring a diverse and rewarding day of exploration.

After breakfast, you depart from Etosha and travel onward to Damaraland, often described as the geological treasure of Namibia. This rugged and dramatic region is renowned for its striking landscapes, ancient rock formations, and rich cultural heritage.
En route, you will visit the Petrified Forest, where ancient fossilized tree trunks — estimated to be millions of years old — lie scattered across the landscape. Later, you continue to Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its remarkable collection of prehistoric rock engravings. These ancient artworks provide fascinating insight into the lives and beliefs of the region’s early inhabitants.

Today we depart Damaraland and travel to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund. Our journey takes us via Uis, with a detour to visit the Cape Cross Seal Reserve, home to one of the largest Cape fur seal colonies in the world. After enjoying this unique wildlife experience, we continue to Swakopmund, arriving in the afternoon.
During your stay, you will have the opportunity to explore the adventure and beauty of the Namib Desert with your guide. This experience showcases fascinating desert fauna and flora, as well as the dramatic giant sand dunes that meet the Atlantic Ocean.
The tour typically lasts around five hours, but you will not be rushed — when possible, the experience may be extended at no additional cost. It offers a perfect blend of photography, wildlife, culture, and history. You will also enjoy exciting dune driving in a 4x4 vehicle, expertly handled by your experienced guide.
This is undoubtedly one of the best ways to spend half a day while visiting the Namibian coast.

Today is at leisure for you to relax and explore Swakopmund at your own pace. Alternatively, you may choose to book one of the many optional activities available in Swakopmund and nearby Walvis Bay. From marine cruises and kayaking with seals to desert excursions, sandboarding, quad biking, and scenic flights, there are plenty of exciting experiences to suit every interest.
After an early breakfast, you depart for Sossusvlei. The journey follows a scenic route through the Namib-Naukluft National Park, offering breathtaking desert landscapes, rugged mountain passes, and ever-changing views along the way. This drive provides a wonderful introduction to the dramatic beauty of Namibia’s desert region.

The morning begins with an early start as we enter the Namib-Naukluft National Park at sunrise. The first rays of sunlight transform the towering sand dunes into magnificent shades of apricot, red, and orange, set against a crisp blue sky. This breathtaking spectacle captivates the senses and offers exceptional photographic opportunities.
You will be enchanted by the surreal beauty of Deadvlei, surrounded by some of the highest dunes on earth, where ancient camelthorn trees stand in stark contrast against the white clay pan and deep red sands. We also visit Sossusvlei, where the dry Tsauchab River ends dramatically amidst the dunes. There will be an opportunity to climb one of these majestic dunes and take in sweeping views of the vast desert landscape below.
Thereafter, we explore Sesriem Canyon, a remarkable natural formation carved by the Tsauchab River. This narrow gorge has long served as a vital water source and remains a fascinating geological feature in the heart of the Namib Desert.
After a leisurely late breakfast, you depart for Windhoek, enjoying the scenic drive back to Namibia’s capital city. Upon arrival, you embark on a guided Windhoek city and township tour.
This tour offers insight into the city’s unique blend of cultures, history, and modern development. You will explore key landmarks, historical buildings, and vibrant township areas, gaining a deeper understanding of Windhoek’s past and present, as well as everyday life in Namibia’s capital.
