Day 2: Paris

Guided tour of Paris - Shared tour

Discover Paris's most famous tourist sights and monuments on one unique tour. Your tour by air-conditioned panoramic coach offers you the opportunity to see Paris and learn about its history and most famous sights through an audio guide commentary. Marvel at Paris's best-known sights: Place Vendôme, the Opera, the Pantheon, the Luxembourg Palace and Gardens, the Orsay Museum, Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Invalides.

At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, step aboard for an hour-long musical cruise along the Seine with an audio guide. Marvel at the amazing architecture of the heart of Paris's most prestigious monuments lining the banks of the Seine: the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Orsay Museum, the Conciergerie, etc. Thanks to your priority access, you can skip the line and speed up by elevator to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, Paris's most unmissable monument. Built by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exhibition in 1889, it is 1,063 feet high. Take in the magnificent 360°views of the city and explore this iconic monument at your own pace.

Day 3: Paris

Guided Tour of the Louvre

Today, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Louvre museum (2.5 hours)  The Louvre is one of the largest palaces in the world and, as a former residence of the kings of France, one of the most illustrious. It exemplifies traditional French architecture since the Renaissance, and it houses a magnificent collection of ancient civilizations and Western art from the Middle Ages to 1848.  Your guide will help you discover this amazing museum, with works like the Venus de Milo, the Coronation of The Emperor Napoléon I,  Da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

Day 4: Bayeux

Guided visit of Giverny / Monet's house

Today you will leave your hotel in Paris and head to Bayeux.  Your private driver will pick you up and on the way you will stop in Giverny to visit Monet's house.

Claude Monet lived at Giverny from 1883 until his death in 1926. In the surroundings of his home, Monet created the famous flower and water garden with its Japanese bridge, which became his main source of inspiration. The tour will start with a visit to Monet's house to see his furnishings and collection of Japanese engravings. Naturally, the visit would not be complete without a lovely walk around the famous water lily gardens.

Arrive in Bayeux during the afternoon.

Day 5: Bayeux

Private tour of Normandy including D-DAY landing beaches

Enjoy a fascinating private tour of Normandy, whose D-Day landing beaches played a key role in the fall of Nazi Germany. Your tour begins at Sainte Mère Eglise, one of the first towns liberated by the Allies. You will visit the Airborne Museum, which pays tribute to the courageous American paratroopers who descended on Sainte Mere Eglise as it burst into flames. This informative museum maintains an extensive collection of photos, films, interactive displays and artifacts from the D-Day landings.

Then, discover Utah Beach, one of Allies’ key landing beaches and most successful military maneuvers. Continue with a discovery to the spectacular Pointe du Hoc, where on June 6, 1944 Colonel James Rudder and his Rangers accomplished an incredible feat by scaling the cliffs of Pointe du Hoc and destroying the German’s guns. Finally, visit Omaha Beach, where so many young Americans lost their lives, followed by a stop at the American Cemetery of Saint Laurent, the final resting place of more than 9,000 U.S. soldiers.

After the tour, you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 6: Bayeux

Private visit of Mont Saint Michel

Enjoy a full day excursion to visit the medieval treasure, Mont Saint Michel. A unique world UNESCO World Heritage site. The rich history of Mont Saint Michel dates back as far as 708, the site was one of the most notable places of pilgrimage for the medieval occident. You'll have a guided visit of the fabulous Abbey, its cloister and its gardens, relaxing and harmonious, the refectory and the impressive wheel of the monks' bone yard.

Lunch on your own. Don’t forget to taste the renowned omelet at the “Mère Poulard” restaurant. Afternoon at leisure to stroll the charming cobbled streets of the old town or walk along the ramparts for a fantastic view of the magnificent bay. Stop in a traditional and family estate to taste organic cider and Calvados.

You will be returned to your hotel after the tour.

Day 7: Paris

This morning you will return to Paris and get dropped off at your hotel. 

You may want to visit the famous flea market, Marche aux Puces or explore more of the city's famous art museums. We would be happy to help with any of these arrangements. If shopping is your preference, where better to be than in Paris!

After breakfast you will be escorted to the airport by your private driver. Au revoir!
