You will arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport today where you will be met at Arrivals by your guide and driven into Windhoek to your overnight accommodation at Hotel Heinitzburg which sits high on a hill overlooking the city
This morning your guide will pick you up after breakfast and drive you north on the main tar road to Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation.
Okonjima Bush Camp is not just a luxury lodge it is also home of the Africat Foundation a world renowned conservation organisation.
You have three nights here to enjoy the wildlife in the 54,000 acre reserve and twice daily game drives in search of Okonjima's leopards, visit the Africat Foundation headquarters, go in search of nocturnal animals such as brown hyena, aardwolf, aardvark and pangolin as well as have the unique opportunity of walking with white rhino

You leave Okonjima this morning after a hearty breakfast and head towards the eastern gate of Etosha National Park. Onguma Game Reserve lies just before the entrance and borders the Fischer's Pan area of the park.
You will be staying at The Fort which faces west overlooking the pan and the sunsets here are magnificent.
There is a small floodlit waterhole and the individual chalets all have large open decks and views directly out to the pan.
You have 4 nights here which gives you plenty of opportunity to visit all the waterholes in the eastern side of Etosha , an area which is particularly good for cheetah sightings and has a high density of all of Namibia's wildlife.

You leave the eastern side of Etosha today to travel across the park to the central gate and to your next destination, Andersson's Camp at Ongava Game Reserve.
There are many waterholes and key wildlife hotspots en route from Onguma to Ongava and you will be able to explore the central wooded area of the park around Halali Camp where you can enjoy lunch before continuing over to Ongava.
From here you will be able to spend time in the central area of Etosha which has vast open plains where huge herds of herbivores trek endlessly to Okaukuejo waterhole, world famous for its prolific wildlife.
Ongava also has a wealth of animal species and Andersson's Camp has an underground photographic hide overlooking the waterhole.

You leave Ongava today and head south and west until you get to western Damaraland which is an area dominated by its giant red boulders and for the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein.
While staying at Mowani you will have the opportunity to go in search of desert adapted elephants which are found in the nearby sandy river beds along with giraffe , rhino and many other desert dwelling specialists.

Today you will leave Mowani and head to the Doro Nawas airstrip where you will catch your charter flight back to Windhoek departing at 12.40 and arriving at Hosea Kutako Airport at 01.55 where you will be met upon your arrival by your guide and driven to Hotel Heinitzburg for your last evening in Namibia
Today the shuttle driver from Hotel Heinitzburg will take you back to the airport in good time for your 09.15 flight back to Johannesburg and your onward flight home
