Day 1: Moremi Game Reserve

Your safari adventure kicks off in Maun, where your guide will meet you at 07:30 at a pre-arranged location. From Maun, you will journey to Moremi Game Reserve, one of Botswana's premier wilderness areas encompassing both swamp and dry landscapes. 

Transfer time: ~6 -7 hours

Please note: as the safari starts at 07h30 on Day 1, you will need to pre-night in Maun and purchase drinks for your safari the day before your safari starts. We can assist with pre-safari arrangements such as accommodation and transfers.

On the afternoon of your pre-night, you will have the option of taking a 45min flight in a helicopter with no windows and doors, allowing magnificent views from above. Both experiences have to be booked prior to arrival, and payment made in USD cash only. Transfers are not included and extra charges will apply.

Day 2: Moremi Game Reserve

The next 2 days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. Game drives in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets will be the norm. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions.

Day 3: Khwai Community Area

This morning after breakfast, you will enjoy a game drive en-route to Khwai Community Area. After you arrive and set up camp, you will go out on a shared afternoon game drive. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions.

Day 4: Savuti - Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be your next destination.  As you continue your search for wildlife, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains.  You will then head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river. Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutions.

Transfer time: ~7 - 8 hours

Day 5: Chobe River Front

Your journey will then take you on a game drive en-route to Northern Chobe. After arriving and setting up camp, you will go out on a shared afternoon game drive. Camping will be in private designated areas featuring bush ablutions.

Transfer time: ~5 - 6 hours

Continue your  adventure in Northern Chobe, where your game drives will meander along the riverbanks, accompanied by the calls of the majestic African Fish Eagle. You will go out on a shared morning and afternoon game drive today.

Day 7: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After a short morning game drive your guide will take you to the Kazungula border where you will meet the transfer vehicle for your lodge in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (Visa required). You will spend the night at a comfortable lodge. In the afternoon there will be time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop for curios. Lunch and dinner will be at your own expense.

Day 8: End of Itinerary

The safari officially ends after breakfast on day 8, at the lodge.  

We are happy to arrange post-tour accommodation, activities and transfers to Victoria Falls airport or lodges or Kasane, Botswana, at an additional cost.  Activities in Victoria Falls include White Water Rafting down the Zambezi Gorge, Canoeing on the upper Zambezi and Helicopter Flights over the Victoria Falls, please ask your guide for further details.
