Days 1 - 3: Southern Hwange National Park

Beginning your journey in Zimbabwe, you will venture to Hwange National Park. This is the largest reserve in Zimbabwe. It is home to roughly 40, 000 elephants, along with many other game species including lion, zebra, giraffe, and endangered species such as wild dog. Scenery ranges from desert regions to vast open savannah and lush woodlands. Other highlights here include the Nyamandhlovu Pan and the Bumbusi National Monument.

For the first three nights of your adventure, you will stay at Somalisa Camp. This elegant camp offers the ideal base for your stay. Situated on a floodplain, the camp features fully equipped luxury tents, each boasting en-suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and other touches. The large pool and communal deck are ideally positioned for maximum views. Take a game drive to look out for the Big Five. Enjoy fine dining and cocktails on the deck. Watch wildlife and birds from the viewing hides. Take a bush walk to spot game by foot. Drift off to sleep with the sounds of the bush lulling you into a peaceful slumber.

Days 4 - 6: Matetsi Private Game Reserve

Located on the Zimbabwean side of the iconic Falls, the bustling town of Victoria Falls offers the perfect location to explore one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is famous for its vast, crashing waters. Named Mosi-oa-Tunya (The Smoke That Thunders) by locals, the Falls is bordered by Zimbabwe and Zambia, with two thirds to be seen on the Zimbabwean side. Wildlife abounds in this region, with plenty to see, do, and discover.

During the next three nights, you will have ample chances to take in the many wonders of Victoria Falls. You will be staying at Matetsi Victoria Falls, positioned on the Zambezi River. This luxurious retreat offers exclusive access to 55, 000 hectares within the spectacular Matetsi Private Game Reserve. Experience game-viewing activities. Enjoy pulse-racing adventure sports at Victoria Falls. Explore the town and all its offerings. Take a river cruise and watch the sun setting on the mighty Zambezi River. Relax and enjoy sundowners, leisurely breakfasts, and afternoon tea in the communal relaxation area.

Days 7 - 9: Kasane

Making your way from one river paradise to another, you will head to the Chobe riverfront for an experience like no other. The Chobe River comprises lush riverine woodlands and floodplains, with exceptional game-viewing opportunities. Elephants are found within the thousands, while many other big game and smaller game species can also be seen along with an abundance of bird species.

Over the next three nights, you will be on board the luxurious 42-metre Zambezi Queen. This houseboat offers five-star luxury, with every amenity needed for an exceptional stay. Each of the 14 suites has its own private balcony along with other touches. A wide range of activities is enjoyed each day. Wake up to a magnificent sunrise over the river. Enjoy breakfast as you watch wildlife coming to the water to drink in the early morning. Look out for game along the shores as you gently make your way down the river. Day 10: End of Itinerary

Return to Kasane in time for your return flight back home via Johannesburg.
