Welcome to Costa Rica!
Once your flight has arrived at SJO Int’l Airport, we will provide assistance inside and outside the International Airport.
Firstly, a representative from the National Chamber of Tourism – CANATUR – will be waiting for you at the exit gate. Please look for a sign with your name. The staff will escort you throughout the terminal. You will go through immigration, then you will continue to the Baggage Claim Area until the Customs clearance process. Upon exiting the building, you will be met by a Swiss Travel representative who will be wearing a bright orange t-shirt and green pants, holding a board with your name.
Our staff will provide you with a welcome envelope containing all the necessary documentation you will need during your stay in Costa Rica, such as a day-by-day itinerary, updated transportation times, main contact information, emergency phone numbers, sustainable tips, and any other information you may require. Afterwards, you will be escorted to the tourist transportation to continue to your selected hotel.
