Days 2 - 5:
Murchison Falls National Park
- Depending on focus can either head to Murchison Falls NP, which has a variety of activities such as chimp trekking, boating the Nile, safari in Murchison Falls NP or head to Kibale NP which is very good for chimpanzee trekking and other primates.
- Either do 1 or 2 days permits for the Chimpanzees.
- Specials in murchison are African and Black-bellied Firefinches, Grey-headed Oliveback, Compact Weaver, Wahlberg’s Eagle, White-thighed Hornbill, African Dwarf Kingfisher, Chocolate-backed Kingfisher in the forest canopy and Shining Blue Kingfishers, Chestnut-capped Flycatcher, Rufus-crowned Eremomela, Ituri Batis, Fraser's Forest Flycatcher, Spotted Greenbul, Fire-crested Alethe, Lemon-bellied Crombec, and of course the Shoebill.
Days 6 - 8:
Northern Queen Elizabeth National Park
- Charter flight to Queen Elizabeth NP to safari this region with tree lions, and a variety of other wildlife in the area.
- Some specials are Bateleur, Martial Eagle, Common (Kurrichane) Buttonquail, African Crake, African Jacana, Black-bellied Bustard, Black-winged Stilt, Water Thick-knee, Temminck’s Courser, Spur-winged Lapwing, African Wattled Lapwing, Senegal Lapwing, Kittlitz’s Plover, Black Coucal, Pied Kingfisher, Grey-headed Kingfisher, Rufous-naped Lark, Flappet Lark, Grassland Pipit, Plain-backed Pipit, Yellow-throated Longclaw, White-browed Robin-chat, Sooty Chat, Zitting Cisticola
Days 9 - 11:
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
- Main focus for Bwindi are the gorillas and can either do 1 or 2 gorilla treks to maximise your chances of a great sighting with these magnificent animals.
- Bird the National Park looking for Olive Long-tailed Cuckoo, Dusky Tit, Abyssinian Ground Thrush, White-bellied Robin-Chat, Equatorial Akalat, White-tailed Ant Thrush, White-eyed Slaty Flycatcher, Black-billed Weaver, Black Bee-eater, Pitta-like Neumann’s Warbler.
- It has about 360 species of bird, including 22 of the 23 Albertine Rift endemic species
Days 12 - 13:
Lake Mburo National Park
- Birding Lake Mburo NP with over 300 species of birds
- Tabora Cisticola, and African Finfoot are a good chance here with a huge variety of water birds and cuckooshrikes.
